Trust Is a Management Outcome, Not a Team-Building Exercise
Trust is often treated as a relationship issue solved through openness, vulnerability, and team-building. But employees decide whether management is trustworthy by watching what happens when expectations are unclear, decisions become difficult, standards are tested, or commitments become inconvenient. Trust grows when management is clear, consistent, and dependable. It weakens when employees must protect themselves from uncertainty.
